How to choose the right DISC conversion for you.
DVD Set
Your discs converted to new DVDs. People usually choose this option when looking to duplicate their existing discs, for example if you had your wedding day filmed, you may wish to make multiple copies to send to family and friends. You’ll be able to play it on any computer, cast it to your Smart TVs or even upload to your phone.

Can I convert damaged discs to digital?
The extent of conversion from damaged discs depends on the nature of the damage. But professional services such as ourselves have specialised methods for salvaging content, and we are successful in most cases.
Is there any loss of quality when converting discs to digital?
When trying to convert discs to digital at home there can be a slight loss of quality due to the conversion process, but with the high-end, professional equipment we use at Digital Converters, the conversion is as good as it can possibly be and will appear for all intents and purposes exactly the same as the source material.
Can I store converted discs on a hard drive or cloud storage?
Yes, you can store digitised discs on external hard drives, internal storage, or cloud storage services for easy access. We offer these options in addition to USB stick when we convert your discs.
Can I convert copy-protected discs to digital formats?
Converting copy-protected discs may require bypassing encryption mechanisms and is illegal in the UK. We cannot convert commercially released discs for you.
How much does it cost to convert a DVD to a digital format?
If you’re trying to do this at home, you’ll likely need to purchase an external DVD drive, as computers aren’t sold with DVD drives anymore, let alone ones that can burn discs too. You’ll also need to get the software. Some free applications exist, but for lossless quality, it’s best to purchase quality software. The cost then varies based on factors like the number of discs.
It works out cheaper to use a DVD to digital conversion service, such as Digital Converters.
We charge £13.99 per DVD to be converted, and then the final cost depends on the destination format you choose. This price drops significantly with the more discs you convert.
Can I edit the content before converting a DVD to digital?
Yes, you can edit the content before or after converting by using video editing software to trim, enhance, or add effects to the digitised video.
If you utilise our DVD conversion service, we’ll edit the videos for you to ensure the best quality, while also putting together a DVD menu for you to make watching all your converted videos - if you’ve chosen DVD as your converted media.
